Scoresheet signature requirements change of process.

Dear Club Members,

Just a couple of administration issues to report on:

1. Change to Qualifications for Junior Domestic – Effective Round 8 (tomorrow, Saturday 16 June 2018)
players will no longer be required to sign the back of the scoresheet.
In order for a player to receive a qualification game, their full name and jersey number will need to be on the scoresheet (either printed or written on). As the majority of players names and numbers are printed on the scoresheet, if a particular player is not playing, it will be the job of those on the score bench to clearly put a line through those players, indicating that they did not participate in the game, and therefore should not get a qualification for that game. If a player has been crossed off, and they arrive to the game late, they can simply be added (re-written) onto the scoresheet. At the end of the game, before the scoresheet is signed by the referee(s), it must be complete with those players that did not play crossed off, players added and jersey numbers, where applicable. For the avoidance of doubt, if a player is in uniform and able to play, even if they do not get on the court (e.g. coaches decision), their name and number should be on the scoresheet. Only players who are not at the game, or not able to play, or are not in uniform, should be crossed off.
